LA Continuum by Carol Bishop + Susan Horowitz:
Photographic collection of glimpses of the flux of urban land, development & architecture of LA melding the past, present & future. Current views of the disparate fabric of urban LA; the giant cranes, Griffith Park both fire-ravaged & lush, the LA River, historic architecture in varying states, advertising-sheathed construction sites, new buildings referencing the past or forging their own Aesthetics plus future sites form a roughly-faceted picture of LA now.
Carol Bishop is the author of FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT: The Romantic Spirit published by Balcony Press. Carol Bishop & Susan Horowitz previously collaborated on the exhibition & catalogue WRIGHT PERSPECTIVES at Hennessey + Ingalls.
